BAD COMPANY “THE Swan Song Years 1974-1982” box set

La Atlantic Records farà uscire il 2 agosto 2019 un cofanetto di sei cd della Bad Company. Il cofanetto conterrà i sei album da studio della Bad Company originale in versione rimasterizzata e senza nessuna bonus track. Non si capisce bene il motivo di questa tempistica, visto che devono ancora uscire le deluxe edition degli ultimi due album. Fare uscire un cofanetto del genere prima di aver completato i set deluxe dei singoli album originali mi pare quantomeno discutibile; ad ogni modo è un’ occasione ghiotta per avere in un’unico cofanetto i remasters dei sei album originali del gruppo che qui sul blog tanto amiamo.

Appare dal nulla parte del concerto dei LZ tenuto a Detroit il 6 giugno 1972. La fonte è audience, la qualità non eccelsa, ma è curioso come dopo tanti anni risalgano a gallo piccoli tesori come questa registrazione live mai sentita prima. Per chi avesse costanza, voglia ed orecchie esperte ricordo che si tratta dei Led Zeppelin dell’immaginario collettivo, in quegli anni gruppo superlativo.
