PAGE & PLANT Audio Bootleg HARD DISK – complete!

25 Ago

Terry Stephenson announces a complete audio collection of Page/Plant concerts for the 1994, 1995/96 & 1998 tours, on a single hard drive.

In March ’95 I set out on the 1st leg of the P/P tour to document as many concerts in the best possible quality that I could, and after taping 49 shows & 16yrs later, I’m still working on archiving this epic tour.  For the last year I’ve been working diligently at putting together the ultimate audio collection from these P/P tours, archived on hardrive, and now it’s done and I’m ready to offer it to the collectors.  Here’s what the collection consist of:

  • The project is 212 GB consisting of 731 files
  • EVERY concert/TV performance P/P did on their tours (with the exception of 3 missing shows from the ’98 tour)
  • All organized meticulously by date
  • Each audio source is in the form of FLAC files, one FLAC file for each recording (if you are unfamiliar with FLAC files look at the bottom of this email)
  • Each audio file is accompanied by a matching text file
  • Text files contain: the correct city/state/venue, taper name & equipment used & taping location if known, and the setlist + any special notes/stories pertaining to the show or taping experience.
  • In many cases there are multiple audience-tape sources, say 3 different recordings + a sdbd tape, all for that gig and all archived with the appropriate source info.
  • The 1st file in the collection is a Master List of all the performance dates, breaking them down by legs within each tour
  • The 2nd file lists EVERY SONG played on the P/P tours and the date they 1st played it, listed alphabetically from “Achilles” to “You Shook Me,” but it’s all those cover tunes in between that are really interesting!

In ’95–’98 I was extremely active in not only taping these shows myself but also getting DAT tapes directly from other tapers of any & every P/P show I could.  For the last year it has been the long & tedious process of transferring my tapes to computer, as well as contacting quite a few collectors around the world to help me fill the missing holes.  Now it’s done, the P/P tours are properly archived forever and accessed at the click of a mouse, and I’m offering the entire collection to you as well.

the only 3 recordings missing from the P/P tours are:

98-May-27 North Charleston, SC
98-Nov-12 Zagreb, Croatia
98-Nov-25 Montpellier, France
